Polishing kits for amalgam and precious alloys

The kits are available in contra angle or friction grip shank and contain all important instruments for all polishing steps up to high gloss.

The Brownie cups and midi-points are made with a coarse abrasive that is ideal for removing scratches and blemishes from the amalgam surface. The Greenie cups and midi-points are made with a medium abrasive that is used to smooth out the surface and create a polished finish. The Supergreenie cup and midi-point are made with a fine abrasive that is used to create a high gloss finish.

The polishing compounds in the Amalgam Polishing are impregnated into the rubber cups and midi-points. This means that there is no need to add additional polishing powder, which can make the polishing process messy and time-consuming. The polishing compounds are also water-soluble, which makes it easy to clean the instruments after use.

Cavex Bite&White Shade Correction is a fast, safe and effective system for restoring the natural tooth color. It is an In-Office system, so the entire procedure is carried out by the dentist in the dental practice. The revolutionary gel in the system makes it possible to restore the original tooth color with only 2 to 3 applications in 1 treatment.

The Shade Correction System is based on 25% Hydrogen Peroxide Superior (HPS). This revolutionary gel, developed and patented by Cavex, is based on reactive oxygen added in the form of stabilized, encapsulated hydrogen peroxide. Upon contact with saliva, the pure hydrogen peroxide in the HPS gel is rapidly broken down into oxygen and water. This process creates free radicals that attack the carbon double bonds in chromophores that are the source of most discoloration in teeth.

Due to the unique formula, the HPS gel works extremely fast. This minimizes treatment time and thus the risk of sensitivity. The thermo-reversible properties of the gel ensure that it stays perfectly in place during the treatment which maximizes the final result. The system consists of a unique applicator pen with a brush for maximum control during application and a protective barrier to protect the surrounding soft tissue.

Silaxil condensation silicones (type C), with the highest level of accuracy in details reproduction, are suitable for all impression taking techniques.

The purple color of the light body and the green color of the regular body allow to verify the perfect homogeneity of the mixing between base paste and catalyst, subsequently creating an excellent chromatic contrast between the first and second impression.

The viscosities facilitate manual mixing, making it free of any porosity; they also allow the registration of details without compressing the tissues, thus making it the ideal product for all impression taking techniques. The choice of delicate aromas, mint for Putty and orange for Light and Regular body, is well tolerated by the patient, does not alter the salivation and significantly reduces the emetic effect.

The long working time allows to perform the various stages of impression taking, without that the material pre-harden hastily.

The high dimensional stability over time allows to preserve the impression for long periods without incurring any dimensional alteration of the models.

Furthermore, thanks to the blocks mixture driven, the dosage and subsequent mixing phases of the Light Body / Regular Body with the Enersyl catalyst are extremely simplified, avoiding an unnecessary waste of material.
